'Snow' began as a few simple ideas on Fender Rhodes and drums by LA/Toronto based drummer Morgan Doctor. Having been a fan of Morgan's for years and a remixer of her previous work, i jumped at the opportunity to try and develop this song in collaboration with her. It was intended for her next album (released in fall 2020) but didn't fit with the other material. i felt it was too strong a demo to remain hidden and so we share it with you now.

I wrote the lyrics to try and capture the idea of new relationships or experiences sometimes being forced to remain hidden until the proverbial spring arrives and makes way for the emergence of what is still very much alive beneath the surface.
