'Water won't flow' was inspired by an experience i had while holed up in a cottage on a lake doing some songwriting. The water for the cottage was pumped from the lake you see in the accompanying artwork but since the seasons were in transition, the evening temperatures would plummet and on this occasion, caused the water lines to freeze. I was without water and had to find a way to both fix the pump and solve the frozen water line issue. This situation became a metaphor for recognizing and respecting the sacred gift that is water and how quickly its disappearance affects our lives.
