The first single from Eccodek's forthcoming album, Mistake of the Ear (The Peppermoth Variations), features Turkish songstress Meral Mert in a beautiful vocal/kora duet with spacious production and dub treatments. Fully reenvisioning the original version first heard on Shivaboom, this arrangement allows us to enjoy Mert's stunning performance in all of its intimacy. Paired with the studio version of the single is a gorgeous remix by throat singer extraordinaire The Heart is Awake.
